I never ever EVER thought there would be any place so delicious, so old-fashioned southern; my momma is from MS, I grew up in Louisiana…this is our kind of breakfast! The manager and wait staff is so kind and efficient. The older gentleman that I was with said, “They stole my granny’s gravy recipe!”. I was shocked! I certainly did not expect this particular man to say that about anyone else’s cooking. He is from way back in the woods of LA where they kill what they eat and his granny was top notch at everything. That is 2 enthusiastic thumbs up from him. Oh, and Ryan (Mgr) clarified my Mexican street corn recipe the day before Thanksgiving because my friend and I were here without our families and I wanted to attempt the dish for our holiday dinner. That was just plain nice.11/27/23 Third time was a charm. So delicious, filling, decadent and just over 20. Unheard of in this economy. Thank y’all for being fantastic!!

Biscuts & Gravy is a gem of restaurant by the val Verde flea market near Donna TX. Folks their breakfast item is just like your momma used to make , everyone gets a delicious homemade biscut covered in best tasting sausage gravy that you can wrap your lips around, you get this before you order main dish . We ordered the 2 pancakes 2 eggs bacon and hash browns, the pancakes were thick hot and really good , plus the eggs are exactly prepared the way you want them , the Bacon was crispy just the way we like it and hash browns are light and tasty . Maria was a waitress who waited on us, and she always kept our coffee mugs full. Plus, she greeted us with a warm smile . If you want lip-smacking delicious food that your taste buds will do backflips for, then go to Biscuts & Gravy, and you want be disappointed. We will definitely be back.

This restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with limited seating. Upon arrival, the staff seemed quite busy and didn't immediately acknowledge us, prompting us to find our own table once it became available. The menu offers a satisfying variety without overwhelming options, focusing on specialties like biscuits and gravy, pancakes, French toast, and other breakfast and lunch items. Despite the initial wait, we received attentive service once seated, even enjoying samples of their delicious biscuits and gravy. The prices were very reasonable, and the portion sizes were generous. The pancakes were our favorite! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and look forward to returning.

Pure luck I found this amazing gem. Was on my way to Harlingen but wanted to try something new along the way so I opened up Google & picked Bscuits & Gravy. I'm so glad I did. It's a small, cozy, very welcoming & locally owned restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious & definitely worth a drive to visit again (I'm 30 minutes away). Ordered 3 entrees, 1 coffee & 2 extra biscuits (they're delicious!) And paid about 36. Food did take a little long to come out even though there were only 2 tables, including mine, but I didn't mind at all the food was definitely worth the wait. Server was very nice but seemed a little distracted but I'm just nit picking to give a detailed review. Can't wait to go back.

Tucked away but worth the find, this biscuit and gravy spot is a true hidden gem. The biscuits are buttery, paired perfectly with rich, savory gravy. Don’t miss their super fluffy, thick pancakes!!! Also recommend trying their chicken and waffles dish. Perfect for breakfast lovers.

LOVED THIS PLACE! It’s a small and cozy spot where comfort dishes are served up with a smile! Please stop by if you’re looking for a budget friendly place to enjoy breakfast! When we got there we were even offered a biscuit with gravy on the house!

We took our 5 year old for his birthday breakfast. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. 10/10 recommend and we will definitely be back
